102 games made it through all three stages of the challenge. They were each started by a designer, worked on by second designer, and then finished by a third, all anonymously.
Now here's where you come in. Anyone, designer participant or just interested gamer, who asserts they've read at least five of the games can vote by ranking their top four games. All the games are about 4000 words long. I'll use STV (Single Transferrable Voting) to pick five finalist games based on the submitted votes. A panel of judges will read the finalists and have a publicly viewable Google Hangout conversation about them, and then they'll pick a winner.
You may read as many of the games as you like, and I encourage you to do so, and to use the #Threeforged hashtag and talk about them if you want wherever you talk about RPGs online. People put a lot of work into the games and they're absolutely worthy of conversation. But you only have to read five in order to vote. If you read more, you may rank as many of them as you want, but probably after seven or so your low ranked choices won't impact which ones are the finalists.
Your votes are due by 11 p.m., Eastern Time in the United States, Sunday the 27th of September. If you're worried about a miscalculation and missing the deadline, just submit your votes early.
Vote by sending an email to paul@halfmeme.com with the subject of "[your email address] #Threeforged votes" and the code numbers of the games as a single line in the body of the email, with your top choice first, and then second, and third, and fourth, etc., all separated from each other only by a single space. The body of your email will look something like this, just with different numbers:
That's:
[top choice][space][second choice][space][third choice][space][fourth choice][space][fifth choice][space] etc.
Submitting votes like this will make it easiest for me to import them into a spreadsheet.
Below are links (in green) to all the games. The first grid is by game number. The second is by game title. I'll update the download counts on a regular basis during the voting. Please consider reading games with low numbers of downloads (in red) so all the games get some attention. And please don't create a zip file of all the games to make it easier for people to download them. One-by-one downloading is the only way we'll be able to see which games aren't getting any attention.
